Michelle McCourt, President and CEO of Bridgeway Federal Credit Union, was recently honored with the Credit Union Association of New York’s Outstanding Professionals award at the association’s annual convention in Saratoga.
The award is given to professionals who further the credit union “people helping people” philosophy every day and demonstrate their passion for credit unions through hard work, dedication and success.
McCourt was honored for her continued focus on Bridgeway FCU’s community development efforts. Bridgeway is the Hudson Valley’s only Community Development Financial Institution, servicing community members that are typically overlooked or underserved by financial institutions.
McCourt has also led great strides in staff development and financial education to be able to conduct Credit Score Analysis for individuals who need to raise their score, lower their rates and eliminate their debts.
