New grant for Dutchess County SPCA

Isaac Rubin and Jackie Rose accepting a $50,000 grant from the Isaac D. Rubin Family Advocacy Fund in support of the Dutchess County SPCA’s new Adoption and Education Center. The Isaac D. Rubin Family Advocacy Fund provides support for people with mental illness and brain disorders. The grant was made in the memory of Adam Rubin and recognizes the contribution of the DCSPCA to the health and well-being of people with mental illness through volunteering opportunities and by providing pet companions. The new center at the Hyde Park facility is scheduled to open within a few weeks.
