Germantown documentary sets premiere

An oral history documentary titled: “Germantown: The Stories of Our History” will make its screen debut next month at the library.

Produced this spring by Germantown native S. Nicholas Holsapple, the film features interviews with over a dozen natives of Germantown who have familial links to the original 1710 Palatine Migration.

The documentary was a collaboration with cameraman and former Germantown resident Travis Bleen and Oral Historian Sara Wolcott and was funded by The Alexander and Marjorie Hover Trust in collaboration with the Germantown History Department and the Germantown Library.

The premiere screenings will be held Sept. 9 at the Germantown Library on Palatine Park Road. Showings will be at 2pm and 7pm. The filmmaker will introduce the documentary, which will be followed by a Q&A session.
