Coronavirus update: 17 new cases on Aug. 26 in Dutchess County

17 new positive tests for Coronavirus were reported on Wednesday, August 26 in Dutchess County. The active case count stood at 235, an increase of 5 from the prior day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 10, unchanged.

There were no new deaths reported in the county attributed to the disease.

Over the previous seven days, residents had been given an average of 1,562 live virus tests per day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were up 3%, hospitalizations were up 100% and there had been no new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
