Twelve new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Thursday, Aug. 27 in Dutchess County. The active case count stood at 234, a drop of 1 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 7, a drop of 3.

There were no new deaths attributed to the disease reported in the county.

Over the previous seven days, an average of 1,558 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were down 2%, hospitalizations were up 75% and there had been no new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
