Fourteen new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Wednesday, Sept. 2 in Dutchess County, according to the NYS Department of Health.

On Tuesday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the active case count was 247, an increase of 1 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 6, a drop of 1.

There were no new deaths attributed to the disease reported by the county.

Over the previous seven days, an average of 1,725 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were up 1%, hospitalizations were up 100% and there had been no new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
