Local store clerks charged with selling alcohol to minors in Red Hook, Rhinebeck

Workers at three local stores were each charged on Sept. 5 with selling alcohol to a minor, a misdemeanor, according to a NY State Police report.

A 19-year-old Rhinebeck resident was charged at the Mobil station located at 6583 Spring Brook Ave. and a 21-year-old Rhinebeck resident was charged at the Mobil station at 142 E Market St. Both stations are located in the Village of Rhinebeck. A 57-year old Kingston resident was charged at the Sunoco station located at 7519 N. Broadway in the Village of Red Hook. They were all given tickets to appear in court at a later date.

All three arrests were part of an operation involving an underage purchaser working with the state police.
