Six new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Saturday, Sept. 19 in Dutchess County, according to the NYS Department of Health.

On Friday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 125, a drop of 5 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 5, unchanged.

There were no new deaths attributed to the disease reported by the county.

Over the previous seven days, an average of 1,233 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were down 48%, hospitalizations were down 28% and there had been 3 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
