Six new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Monday, Sept. 28 in Dutchess County, according to the NYS Department of Health.
On Sunday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 147, an increase of 3 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 6, unchanged.
There were no new deaths attributed to the disease reported by the county.
Over the previous seven days, an average of 1,147 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were down 42%, hospitalizations were up 20% and there had been 3 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
