Eleven new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Wednesday, Sept. 30 in Dutchess County, according to the NYS Department of Health.

On Tuesday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 144, a drop of 1 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 3, an increase of 1.

There were no new deaths attributed to the disease reported by the county.

Over the previous seven days, an average of 1,124 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were down 42%, hospitalizations were down 50% and there had been 2 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
