Seven new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Saturday, Oct. 10 in Dutchess County, according to the NYS Department of Health.
On Thursday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 134, an increase of 7 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 11, an increase of 1.
There were no new deaths attributed to the disease reported by the county.
Over the previous seven days, an average of 1,672 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were up 3%, hospitalizations were up 120% and there had been 5 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
