Fifteen new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Monday, Oct. 19 in Dutchess County, according to the NYS Department of Health.
On Sunday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 149, a drop of 16 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 13, an increase of 1.
There were no new deaths attributed to the disease reported by the county.
Over the previous seven days, an average of 1,648 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were up 1%, hospitalizations were up 333% and there had been 7 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
