Seventeen new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Thursday, Oct. 29 in Dutchess County, according to the NYS Department of Health.
On Wednesday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 168, a drop of 12 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 11, a drop of 1.
There were no new deaths attributed to the disease reported by the county.
Over the previous seven days, an average of 1,735 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were up 32%, hospitalizations were up 10% and there had been 4 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
