680 acres to be protected in Red Hook, Clermont, Germantown

Scenic Hudson and the Dutchess Land Conservancy have announced options to purchase conservation easements on 440 acres on eight farms in Red Hook, with Scenic Hudson and the town of Red Hook each to pay 25 percent of the cost of the easements, which was not disclosed.
