Forty-nine new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Sunday, Nov. 8 in Dutchess County, according to the NYS Department of Health.

On Saturday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 292, an increase of 30 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 12, unchanged.

There were no new deaths attributed to the disease reported by the county.

Over the previous seven days, an average of 1,854 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were up 76%, hospitalizations were unchanged and there had been 5 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
