Eighty-four new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Monday, Nov. 16 in Dutchess County, according to the NYS Department of Health.
On Sunday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 533, an increase of 14 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 31, an increase of 5.
There was one new death attributed to the disease reported by the county.
Over the previous seven days, an average of 2,327 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were up 229%, hospitalizations were up 210% and there had been 10 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
