Seventy-six new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Friday, Nov. 20 in Dutchess County, according to the NYS Department of Health.

On Thursday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 603, a drop of 1 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 39, a drop of 3.

There were two new deaths attributed to the disease reported by the county.

Over the previous seven days, an average of 2,248 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were up 281%, hospitalizations were up 387% and there had been 14 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
