Joel Griffith, the mayor of Tivoli, announced a series of upcoming water outages for parts of the Tivoli water system as reconstruction continues on the village water system:
To users of the Village water system,
Please take careful note of these upcoming interruptions in water service.
Monday 12/14: Impacted areas will include the Tivoli Gardens Condominiums and Woods Road residents north of Elizabeth Drive.
Please be advised that your home or business will experience a loss of water service beginning around 10:00 AM on Monday, December 14th, and lasting up to 4-hours. This is due to the ongoing water main replacement work throughout the Village and the need to connect the new water main to the piping currently serving your home or business. If you know where your main line (house) valve is located (typically basement) and it is in good working order, consider closing this valve during this period to protect your domestic plumbing. Please visit the following link for general information regarding water service shut-downs and what can be done to minimize impacts: https://www1.nyc.gov/site/dep/water/water-shut-off.page

Beyond Monday? Below is the tentative shut-off schedule. Depending on how each day’s work proceeds, and weather, the following information is subject to change. We will provide more information as we have it. For now, this is what we expect after Monday.
Tuesday, December 15th: Provost Apartments
Impacted users: Provost Apartment Residents Only
Wednesday, December 16th: Elizabeth Road Tie-in
Impacted users: Green Tree Road Residents from V5 north to Elizabeth Dr, Elizabeth Dr Residents north of Lothrop Lane
Thank you for your patience and understanding as the Village and the DCWWA make these critical improvements to our water system.
