COVID-19: 192 new cases, 7.8% positivity on Dec. 14 in Dutchess County

One hundred ninety-two new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Monday, Dec. 14 in Dutchess County for a positivity rate of 7.8%, according to the NYS Department of Health.

On Sunday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 1330, a drop of 36 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 96, an increase of 8.

There were no new deaths attributed to the disease reported by the county.

Over the previous seven days, an average of 2,574 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were up 107%, hospitalizations were up 128% and there had been 23 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
