Baseball historian will appear at Red Hook Library fundraiser

RED HOOK — Catskill resident John Thorn appointed as the Official Historian of Major League Baseball this year, will speak about the sport’s true origins at a talk and book signing Sunday at the Red Hook Firehouse in a fundraiser for the Friends of Red Hook Public Library.
