One hundred fifty-five new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Saturday, Jan. 30 in Dutchess County for a positivity rate of 5.5%, according to the NYS Department of Health.

On Friday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 1555, a drop of 9 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 153, a drop of 16.

There were 2 new deaths attributed to the disease reported by the county.

Over the previous seven days, an average of 3,120 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were down 25%, hospitalizations were up 4% and there had been 84 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
