One hundred sixty-seven new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Thursday, Feb. 4 in Dutchess County for a positivity rate of 4.9%, according to the NYS Department of Health.
On Wednesday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 1271, an increase of 38 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 132, a drop of 12.
There were 4 new deaths attributed to the disease reported by the county.
Over the previous seven days, an average of 2,475 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were down 41%, hospitalizations were down 18% and there had been 86 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
