One hundred thirty-one new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Saturday, Feb. 6 in Dutchess County for a positivity rate of 3.7%, according to the NYS Department of Health.

On Thursday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 1267, a drop of 4 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 131, a drop of 1.

There were 3 new deaths attributed to the disease reported by the county.

Over the previous seven days, an average of 2,519 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were down 46%, hospitalizations were down 18% and there had been 85 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
