One hundred twenty-six new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Sunday, Feb. 7 in Dutchess County for a positivity rate of 4.6%, according to the NYS Department of Health.

On Saturday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 1066, a drop of 120 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 108, a drop of 15.

There were 3 new deaths attributed to the disease reported by the county.

Over the previous seven days, an average of 2,620 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were down 58%, hospitalizations were down 29% and there had been 77 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
