One hundred nineteen new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Friday, Feb. 12 in Dutchess County for a positivity rate of 3.9%, according to the NYS Department of Health.

On Thursday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 1063, an increase of 54 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 89, unchanged.

There were 3 new deaths attributed to the disease reported by the county.

Over the previous seven days, an average of 3,104 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were down 56%, hospitalizations were down 38% and there had been 61 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
