Eighty-one new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Monday, Feb. 15 in Dutchess County for a positivity rate of 5.2%, according to the NYS Department of Health.

On Sunday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 1099, a drop of 47 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 80, unchanged.

There were no new deaths attributed to the disease reported by the county.

Over the previous seven days, an average of 2,856 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were down 35%, hospitalizations were down 46% and there had been 54 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
