Ninety-one new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Wednesday, Feb. 17 in Dutchess County for a positivity rate of 3.5%, according to the NYS Department of Health.

On Tuesday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 819, an increase of 106 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 75, an increase of 2.

There was 1 new death attributed to the disease reported by the county.

Over the previous seven days, an average of 2,719 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were down 47%, hospitalizations were down 55% and there had been 53 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
