One hundred eight new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Friday, Feb. 19 in Dutchess County for a positivity rate of 2.1%, according to the NYS Department of Health.

On Wednesday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 878, an increase of 59 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 72, a drop of 3.

There were 2 new deaths attributed to the disease reported by the county.

Over the previous seven days, an average of 2,595 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were down 43%, hospitalizations were down 58% and there had been 53 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
