One hundred thirteen new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Monday, Feb. 22 in Dutchess County for a positivity rate of 6.0%, according to the NYS Department of Health.

On Sunday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 1151, a drop of 5 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 49, a drop of 6.

There was 1 new death attributed to the disease reported by the county.

Over the previous seven days, an average of 2,730 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were down 17%, hospitalizations were down 66% and there had been 44 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
