One hundred seven new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Saturday, Feb. 27 in Dutchess County for a positivity rate of 3.6%, according to the NYS Department of Health.

On Thursday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 1106, an increase of 88 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 39, a drop of 4.

There was 1 new death attributed to the disease reported by the county.

Over the previous seven days, an average of 2,918 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were down 12%, hospitalizations were down 70% and there had been 32 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
