Ninety-two new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Tuesday, Mar. 2 in Dutchess County for a positivity rate of 4.1%, according to the NYS Department of Health.

On Monday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 1058, a drop of 61 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 48, an increase of 9.

There were no new deaths attributed to the disease reported by the county.

Over the previous seven days, an average of 2,595 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were up 30%, hospitalizations were down 57% and there had been 26 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
