One hundred six new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Saturday, Mar. 6 in Dutchess County for a positivity rate of 3.6%, according to the NYS Department of Health.

On Friday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 1080, a drop of 15 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 44, unchanged.

There were 2 new deaths attributed to the disease reported by the county.

Over the previous seven days, an average of 2,645 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were unchanged, hospitalizations were down 45% and there had been 22 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
