One hundred fifty-eight new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Sunday, Mar. 14 in Dutchess County for a positivity rate of 6.1%, according to the NYS Department of Health.

On Saturday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 1152, a drop of 9 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 43, an increase of 5.

There were no new deaths attributed to the disease reported by the county.

Over the previous seven days, an average of 2,607 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were unchanged, hospitalizations were down 21% and there had been 16 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
