One hundred eleven new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Monday, Mar. 15 in Dutchess County for a positivity rate of 5.9%, according to the NYS Department of Health.

On Sunday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 1181, an increase of 29 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 49, an increase of 6.

There were no new deaths attributed to the disease reported by the county.

Over the previous seven days, an average of 2,702 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were up 2%, hospitalizations were unchanged and there had been 15 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
