Around midnight Monday night an emergency call came in to the Red Hook Police reporting a car fire. Within minutes, Officer Kevin VanWagner was on the scene of a car engulfed in flames on Garden St.
According to the VanWagner, the occupants reported experiencing some trouble with the vehicle but were able to exit safely. The Red Hook Fire Department responded and doused the flames. No one was injured.
