Tivoli’s new coffeehouse MURRAY’S hosted an art opening Friday evening January 20th. Works represented were those of local artists Maribeth Blum Tuton and Helen Sacco.
Maribeth’s work, which utilizes a reverse painting on glass technique, displays highly colorful interior scenes in this selection.
Helen’s paintings are done in oil on canvas, and depict a number of outdoor scenes, including two well-known establishments in Tivoli.
All artwork is for sale, as is the coffee and a variety of delectables at MURRAY’S. Incidentally, MURRAY’S, which was developed and established just last year by two enterprising Bard students — Jesse and Jake — offers free WiFi.
Come peruse, imbibe and enjoy!
