What happens when sorority president Elle Woods sets her sights on Harvard Law School? Join The Stissing Theatre Guild at Pine Plains Junior/Senior High School on the journey as Elle learns about the law and herself in this energetic and funny new musical. The Stissing Theatre Guild was started in 1989 at Stissing Mountain Junior-Senior High School to foster an appreciation of the art of musical theater and has produced a play a year every year since its inception. For the 23 years that the plays have been produced all of the production costs except for the director’s salary have come from the sale of tickets, program advertising and fund raising. Thousands of community members have enjoyed the exciting shows that have been presented over the years. Each show involves the active participation of over one hundred students and volunteers.
