The Da Capo Chamber Players “Celebrate Bard”

The Da Capo Chamber Players will perform a chamber music concert entitled “Celebrate Bard!” on Wednesday, February 22, at 8 p.m., in Bard Hall. Admission is free and open to the public and no reservations are necessary. There will be a reception following the concert. The program features chamber music compositions by Bard faculty, alumni, and students, including, Hovenweep, Kyle Gann; Anthelion and Mvt II: Resonance, Adrienne Elisha; And . . . They’re Off! and A Little Gift, Joan Tower; Negra Nochezzolla, José Agustín Sánchez; solo cello piece, Lukas Olejnik; and Precious Maps, Gabrielle Herbst.

The Da Capo Chamber players are Patricia Spencer, flute; Meighan Stoops, clarinet; Curtis Macomber, violin; James Wilson, cello; Blair McMillen, piano; and guest artists Matthew Gold, percussion and Gabrielle Herbst, soprano.
