Registration for kindergarten is beginning in Rhinebeck, Red Hook, and Hyde Park for children who turned 5 on or before Dec. 1, 2014.
Parents should bring custody documents (if applicable) and show their driver’s license or other proof of identity; two proofs of residency (most recent tax bill, lease, etc.); and student’s birth certificate or passport and immunization record for registration.
Hyde Park will hold registration at all of its schools from March 17 through March 21 and parents can call the following numbers to make an appointment. Netherwood 845-229-4055; Violet Ave 845-486-4499; North Park 845-229-4040; R.R. Smith 845-229-4060
Rhinebeck’s registration began in mid-February and will continue through March 8. Parents are encouraged to call Mary Ann Bovee at 845-871-5570 x 5560 to make an appointment. Red Hook’s registration period is three days, Tuesday, March 18 to Thursday March 20 and will be held in the K-2 building lobby from 9:30am-1pm, no appointment necessary.
