a former Wappinger Town Councilman and former vice chair of the Dutchess County Conservative party, is accused of committing these acts while acting in his part-time capacity as the Town of Red Hook building inspector and zoning/code enforcement officer based on a complaint received by the New York State Police. He works in a similar capacity for a number of Dutchess municipalities including the Town of Clinton, Village of Tivoli and Village of Rhinebeck.
was issued a ticket to appear in court at a later date and has been placed on administrative leave from his Red Hook position pending the outcome of the investigation.
